Job Description
As a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial resources are managed effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible for supervising various accounting activities to ensure that financial resources are managed in accordance with accounting principles and comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
* Setting the standard cost for products, including costing over the long-range plan (3-5 years), and presenting it to Senior Management.
* Ensuring month-end reporting is carried out efficiently and in line with the agreed timetable.
* Assisting the Controller in Plan/LBE (latest best estimate/forecast) preparation, including submission of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet and all related analysis versus prior year and prior LBE to Senior Management.
* Providing business analyst support to manufacturing departments to assist in goal achievements and cost reduction projects.
* Developing and implementing lean processes within finance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Professional qualification in accountancy and/or a degree in accounting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently, understanding and summarizing financial data into high-quality, accurate summaries.
* Strong computer skills, especially MS Office; SAP is a distinct advantage.
