Enterprise Risk Management Leader
The role of the Enterprise Risk Management Leader is to support the Chief Risk Officer in overseeing the risk management framework within the organization. This involves ensuring consistent governance, risk assessment, and reporting practices across the group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in implementing or enhancing enterprise risk frameworks, experience working with regulators and Board-level committees, and exposure to global or multi-jurisdictional risk environments.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Act as deputy to the Chief Risk Officer, deputising at internal and external meetings where necessary.
* Provide leadership in risk-related decision-making, ensuring alignment with organizational risk strategy and regulatory expectations.
* Support the global roll-out and embedding of the Enterprise Risk Framework (ERF) across all group entities, ensuring consistency in methodology and reporting.
* Lead initiatives to integrate risk appetite, key risk indicators (KRIs), and stress testing into business planning and decision-making.
* Partner with group functions to align risk processes across multiple jurisdictions (EU, UK, Canada, APAC, US).
* Risk Identification, Assessment, and Monitoring:
* Facilitate regular risk assessments and reviews across technology, operational, financial, and compliance risk categories.
* Coordinate the collection, analysis, and reporting of enterprise risk data for senior management and Board-level committees.
* Track emerging risks and regulatory developments relevant to payments and HR SaaS operations.
* Governance and Reporting:
* Prepare high-quality risk reporting and dashboards for executive committees, Board Risk Committees, and regulators.
* Contribute to the design and delivery of risk training, communications, and awareness programmes across the business.
* Collaboration and Advisory:
* Provide risk advisory support to product development, M & A activity, and material business changes.
* Work closely with Compliance, Audit, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure effective control frameworks.
* Promote a strong risk culture through active engagement with senior leaders and business stakeholders.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Law, Business, or a related discipline, preferably with a Master's degree or professional certification such as FRM, PRM, or equivalent. Relevant experience in risk management, preferably within financial services, fintech, or payments, is also essential.
