Meet The Team
Our Quality Assurance team is looking for a dedicated Senior QA Engineer to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry. You will play a key role in validating and ensuring the quality of site equipment, utilities, and processes in compliance with Dexcom procedures. This role offers broad exposure to our product lifecycle and the opportunity to contribute to life-changing products.
Where You Come In
1. Coordinate and participate in validation and quality assurance activities for site equipment, utilities, and processes.
2. Review validation protocols and final reports to ensure compliance with cGMP standards.
3. Manage validation investigations and implement corrective actions.
4. Communicate regularly with peers and management, escalating issues as necessary.
5. Design inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for production processes, equipment, and finished products.
6. Apply statistical concepts to datasets to identify patterns and insights.
7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing, quality, safety, and training systems.
8. Review and update quality management processes and procedures.
9. Initiate non-conformances/CAPAs and conduct investigations.
10. Perform risk management activities to ensure product safety and effectiveness.
11. Plan, implement, and manage compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards for worldwide distribution.
12. Monitor and report on quality metrics such as defect rates and process capability.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
What Makes You Successful
* Experience in process and equipment validation, with hands-on experience in end-to-end process validation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications (e.g., Excel, MiniTab).
* Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Travel Required
* Approximately 5% travel.
Experience and Education Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5-8 years related experience, or Master’s degree with 2-5 years, or PhD with 0-2 years industry experience.
