Job Description – Stores Person & Delivery DriverCunniffe ElectricThe role of Stores Person / Van Driver at Cunniffe Electric involves but is not limited to the following:Receive in Deliveries from our suppliers dailya. Check Delivery Dockets Vs What's is being delivered vs Purchase Orderb. Notify Administration Team of any discrepanciesStore the deliveries properly based on location, convenience, Usage, access.Ensure that the stores are always kept neat and tidy, compliant with Health & Safety, removing any hazards, keeping aisles clean and free from loose materialWork with the Sales and Administration team on the delivery schedule for the day.Ensure that the delivery driver is fully loaded safely, with full delivery instructions in terms of location and special instructions at location.Manage the Recycling and ensure it is stored safely and removed on a regular basisManage the Cardboard Baler and ensure that it is always maintained properly and safelyOversee the maintenance of the delivery vehicles in terms of cleanliness, upkeep, service and road worthiness. Bring any issue to the attention of management immediatelyEnsure that all intra stores deliveries are made daily10.Complete and surplus deliveries in 2nd van during the day.11.Assist with the installation of appliances at customer site if this has been paid for by the customers.Other duties will arise during the day and week.
