Tyler Weir is seeking a professional services In house Recruiter to join the HR team of a leading law firm on a 12-month fixed-term contract, starting ASAP. Hybrid working available - 2 days on site.
About the role:
Full recruitment lifecycle primarily across business services functions. From managing suppliers and screening candidates to offer management and onboarding, you'll ensure the process is seamless, structured, and always professional.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing recruitment end-to-end, from role scoping and sourcing to offer stage and onboarding
* Coordinating with hiring managers, preferred suppliers, and candidates to ensure best-in-class service
* Managing all offer documentation, reference checks, and onboarding process
* Taking ownership of recruitment reporting—tracking activity, identifying trends, and presenting insights
* Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and agency partners
* Mentoring an administrator and managing elements of the graduate programme
* Acting as a process guardian—ensuring adherence to clearly defined workflows and documentation protocols
Requirements:
* At least 3 years' recruitment experience, ideally within professional services, legal, or corporate setting.
* A natural relationship builder who can confidently liaise with senior stakeholders and external partners
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and process management skills
* A commercial mindset with solid knowledge of employment law and best practice hiring standards
* Highly proficient in Excel; experience using HR systems (e.g. PeopleXD, DocuSign) is an advantage
* A calm, credible communicator who understands nuance and takes ownership with confidence
