The organisation will consider the post specific requirements or experience required in developing the specific CNS Tissue Viability, Wound Management and Lymphoedema/Lipoedema /Chronic Oedema service.
Applicants must demonstrate depth and breadth of Nursing experience in the specialist area of lower limb care, Tissue Viability, Wound Management and Lymphoedema/Lipoedema /Chronic Oedema.
Certification in Lymphoedema management to include manual Lymphatic Drainage from a recognised school of Lymphoedema care or an undertaking to complete same if successful for the post.
It is recommended that the Clinical Nurse Specialist in Tissue Viability, Wound Management and Lymphoedema/ Lipoedema / Chronic Oedema in consultation with line management consider completing the Nurse & Midwife Medicinal Product Prescribing programme in line with the evolving service requirements.
Formally apply for entry onto the Interim ONMSD CNS/CMS database (until the database is transferred to its permanent location). Certification in Lymphoedema management to include manual Lymphatic Drainage from a recognised school of Lymphoedema care should be completed or on acceptance of post be completed.
Post holder must have access to appropriate transport as post will involve travel.
