My client is currently looking to hire an experienced Salesforce Developer Specialist to be part of a growing team. They are a growing global IT multinational at the forefront of innovation and transformation. Join a team supporting a US Financial client, where you will have the opportunity to play a key role within a strategic account, building a cross-functional team to enhance the existing partnership and create a near-shore presence to support the US market. This is one of several new and exciting opportunities on the team.
As a Salesforce Developer, you will help customers identify their needs and develop Custom User Interfaces, including Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components. The role involves using a range of technologies to leverage business performance.
The Role
1. Develop Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce to support business requirements.
2. Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new information and update existing applications and code.
3. Test and debug units and systems.
4. Adhere to Salesforce best practices.
5. Maintain code documentation and write and maintain test classes for all custom development.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Salesforce Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, Visualforce, Aura, LWC, and UI languages.
- Proven experience in testing (unit and system) and debugging.
- Exposure to Salesforce best practices, code repositories, and deployments with DevOps CI/CD.
- Ability to work independently and manage a team comfortably.
Nice to Have
- Capability to use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other organizational systems such as DocuSign, Conga, Survey Gizmo, Experian, ACBS, Alloy.
- Salesforce certifications such as Certified Salesforce Administrator or Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder.
