Accommodation Management Opportunity
This is an exciting chance to lead a well-established accommodation team in a quality-focused hotel. As Accommodation Manager, you will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest care across bedrooms and public areas.
The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience in a 4-star hotel, strong communication and organisational skills, a proven record of maintaining and improving housekeeping standards, excellent attention to detail, and time management skills. They will also be proactive, hands-on, and committed to exceptional guest care.
The role requires the ability to maintain exceptional housekeeping standards across all guest rooms and public areas, oversee daily operations, ensure accurate room status updates are communicated to Front Office, liaise with the Maintenance Team to address issues promptly, respond to guest requests quickly and professionally, keep storage areas organised and secure, inspect rooms for cleanliness and presentation, enforce lost property policies and procedures, conduct inventories and manage stock control of linen and cleaning supplies, order and receive housekeeping stock to maintain adequate levels, and oversee cleanliness and presentation of public areas and reception.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards across all guest rooms and public areas.
* Oversee daily operations and communicate accurate room status updates to Front Office.
* Liaise with the Maintenance Team to address issues promptly.
* Respond to guest requests quickly and professionally.
* Keep storage areas organised and secure.
* Inspect rooms for cleanliness and presentation.
* Enforce lost property policies and procedures.
* Conduct inventories and manage stock control of linen and cleaning supplies.
* Order and receive housekeeping stock to maintain adequate levels.
* Oversight of cleanliness and presentation of public areas and reception.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A previous leadership experience in a quality-focused 4-star hotel is essential. Strong communication and organisational skills are also required, as well as a proven record of maintaining and improving housekeeping standards. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills are necessary for this role. A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to exceptional guest care is also desirable.
