We are currently seeking a QC Instrumentation Senior Engineer to join a leading biologics site in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-performing GMP environment, supporting critical laboratory instrumentation and contributing to the delivery of life-changing biopharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of QC laboratory instruments including purchase, installation, qualification, calibration, and maintenance
Execute and support instrument qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) in line with GMP requirements
Coordinate and perform instrument calibration, maintenance scheduling, and performance tracking
Lead and support deviations, investigations, and documentation related to instrumentation
Collaborate with QC, QA Validation, and CSV teams to deliver new instrument implementation
Ensure compliance with data integrity standards (21 CFR Part 11 / EU Annex 11)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex instrumentation issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives and development of procedures
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
Minimum 3 years' experience in a GMP laboratory, including instrument qualification
Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical analytical techniques (HPLC/UPLC, CE, cIEF, SDS-PAGE, etc.)
Understanding of data integrity and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
