Facilities Operations Manager
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of facilities services on-site. Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring that all security, landscaping, cleaning, pest control, waste management, and laundry service companies maintain legislative and regulatory accreditation and licensing.
* Maintaining regular contact with the contracts manager to consult on key decisions and advise on incidents, escalation, and complaints.
* Managing and coordinating all soft services contractors working under the company's scope in areas including GMP equipment/areas and non-GMP equipment/areas.
* Ensuring all PMs and work orders are completed on time in a safe and effective manner.
* Ensuring that all risk assessments, safe plans of actions, and method statements are in place and adhered to at the workplace.
* Providing feedback regarding contractor performance, especially at contract review.
* Ensuring critical work activities are identified and completed on time.
* Ensuring that all statutory inspections are planned and executed within agreed timelines.
* Ensuring that service levels are managed effectively, providing technical and operational support when required, and communicating with customers when services or environmental conditions could be compromised.
* Responsible for ensuring that all POs are placed in good time and all contractors have quotations in place for all work activities.
* Ensuring quality systems are in place and reporting on quality directives, ensuring active participation in internal and external audits.
* Ensuring monthly toolbox talks are carried out regarding general safety and safe plant operation.
* Recommending improved ways of working to achieve continuous improvement and best practices.
This role will also be responsible for managing the most effective cleaning strategy to preserve complete housekeeping and cleaning levels on the site.
What you'll need to succeed
3-5 years' experience in building services or contractor coordination
Ability to develop teamwork through leadership/people management
