Team Horizon is seeking an Associate Director of Technical Operations for our client in Dublin. This position is responsible for managing high-level technology transfer projects and supporting a portfolio of marketed products. The role involves leading technical staff at the Technical Centre and collaborating with the Science and Technology group globally.
The team is tasked with identifying and executing technological improvements across the product portfolio, ensuring supply readiness for new product launches following market entries.

What you will be doing:
* Leading technical expertise in OSD processes such as dry powder blends, encapsulation, wet granulations, hot melt extrusion, compression, and coating.
* Adapting to dynamic operational conditions and evolving priorities.
* Leading and developing a diverse team of technical specialists.
* Delivering process transfer, development, scale-up, and validation activities.
* Championing new technology assessment and implementation.
* Supporting material characterization and qualification.
* Optimizing product processes and supporting continuous verification.

* Managing small-scale manufacturing areas and promoting their capabilities.
* Developing and driving the CPV program.
* Interfacing with regulatory agencies as needed.

What you need to apply:
* BS/MS/PhD in pharmacy, chemical engineering, or related sciences.
* Proven leadership in Pharma R&D and/or Manufacturing Technical Services.
* Comprehensive experience across development, tech transfer, and launch phases, including regulatory aspects.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
* Ability to delegate effectively and leverage external partners.
* Strategic thinking with long-term planning skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmaceutical technology.
* Understanding of automated control systems, statistical methodologies, and Minitab.
