Job Description:
The role of Senior Project Manager involves overseeing the development and implementation of projects across various departments. This includes managing project plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, and software artifacts in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
Key responsibilities include establishing and overseeing Agile ceremonies, managing stakeholder expectations, communicating effectively with all levels of staff, conducting regular meetings to track progress and provide status updates, liaising with external vendors, prioritizing activities, addressing risks/issues, and managing resources efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years managing complex IT projects, focusing on Agile development in financial institutions.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
* Project management certifications (PMP, Agile) preferred.
* Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools.
* Expertise in IT project management, business analysis, and change management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead and motivate colleagues.
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
