JOB PURPOSE
To work, as part of IDA’s Regional Enterprise Development team, in implementing the organisations strategy to support transformation and growth across IDA client companies and in marketing Ireland’s regions to win high quality FDI investments. This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen interest and passion in both marketing content creation and business development.
Specifically, the role will involve the creation and delivery of digital marketing content including presentation collateral, infographics, videos, etc., to showcase regional locations and value propositions, both internally to colleagues and externally to clients. It will leverage research and analysis to best communicate solutions to target groups, both internally and externally to support IDA’s efforts in marketing regions for FDI.
This role will also support the Department’s business development focus through researching opportunities for regions, supporting client itineraries, client engagements and stakeholder meetings, and at networking events with the core objective of winning and supporting clients growth and development in Ireland. The role will include supporting a portfolio of client companies managed by the Regional Enterprise Development team.
KEY TASKS
* To proactively participate in the implementation of the objectives as set out in IDA’s Strategy Adapt Intelligently - A Strategy for Sustainable Growth and Innovation 2025-2029 and Regional Enterprise Development Strategy Implementation Plan.
* To support the Regional Manager and Regional Executive with the transformation and growth of clients within the Regional Enterprise Development portfolio.
* To develop and deliver a suite of high-quality, innovative marketing collateral and value propositions to attract new investments by identifying and showcasing unique regional selling points.
* To leverage digital content creation applications in the production of creative communications to targeted groups, both internally and externally.
* To produce quality content and messaging through effective research and identification of different target group communication needs.
* To collaborate with Global Teams (Ireland and overseas) to develop and provide up-to-date, relevant marketing materials, sectoral profiles, and regional propositions to meet the information needs of our colleagues and clients.
* To support the marketing roll-out of Key Strategic Initiatives for Regions and coordinate content on internal digital platforms (e.g., Athena).
* To support the Regional Manager and Regional Executive in winning new FDI by planning and, when appropriate, hosting itineraries, while mapping key stakeholders for optimal regional representation.
* To leverage data analytics tools across internal (salesforce) and external sources to strengthen regional value propositions.
* To liaise with Regional and Communications teams to explore and implement innovative marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns.
* To research sectoral trends, emerging business models, and growth opportunities to inform regional communications and messaging.
* To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
* A third level qualification to Level 7 standard recognised on the National Qualification Framework is essential.
* Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, tools, and techniques and experience of programmes such as InDesign, Illustrator, Canva and Photoshop would be a distinct advantage.
* Competence in Microsoft Office, data analytical and presentation applications.
* Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple projects to tight timelines independently and on own initiative.
* Strong communication & interpersonal skills and specifically strong writing skills and attention to detail.
* A full driving licence is desirable.
* Aspects of this role may require national travel, working flexibly across regions and working outside normal office hours on occasion.
* Experience of co-ordination of projects and programmes is essential
* Very good knowledge of Salesforce strongly desirable
* Experience of marketing campaigns & social media use is desirable.

SALARY SCALE
€31,233 to €57,445 per annum contributory superannuation.
Rising by long service increments to €59,318 (after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range). Non-negotiable to start at minimum of the scale. Annual increments of €2,097 provided probation is complete.
