Job Title:HandymanReports To:Maintenance Supervisor / Property Manager / Facilities ManagerJob Summary:The Handyman is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks to ensure that buildings, equipment, and facilities are kept in good working condition. This role requires broad technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail to address general repair and upkeep needs.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.Conduct inspections of premises and equipment to identify repair needs.Install, repair, and maintain fixtures such as doors, windows, shelves, cabinets, and flooring.Paint and patch walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.Assemble furniture, equipment, or other items as required.Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.Perform basic landscaping, cleaning, or exterior maintenance as needed.Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or unsafe conditions.Keep maintenance records and report completed work to management.Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of general repair techniques and building systems.Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.Proficient with hand and power tools.Good problem-solving and time-management skills.Physical stamina and the ability to lift moderate weights.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Valid driver's license may be required.Work Environment:May work in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for urgent repairs.
