Debug Technician Onsite in Dublin 15 Shifts Available: Day: MonThu 6:4514:45, Fri 6:4513:45 Evening: MonThu 15:1523:15, Fri 14:1521:15 Night: MonThu 23:0007:00, Fri 21:0004:00 Role Summary The Debug Technician will perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on failed server components (e.g., SSDs, memory, CPUs, motherboards), using a combination of scripts, tools, and visual inspections. The technician will validate repairs and support continuous improvements to testing and debugging processes. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair failed server components using hardware/software diagnostic scripts. Follow established runbooks, and report gaps to the engineering team. Validate repair results using post-rework scripts. Document all actions and keep detailed records of repairs. Monitor yield trends and collaborate with team leads on quality and performance. Participate in team meetings, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement activities. Meet output and efficiency targets with support from engineers and leads. Skills & Requirements 12 years experience in a debug or electronics troubleshooting role. Third-level qualification in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Programming, or similar (Level 6/7 or higher). Equivalent experience may be considered. Understanding of server hardware and basic Linux OS. Basic knowledge of shell scripting and debug/test tools. Familiarity with schematics, BOMs, and assembly documentation. Ability to work under pressure and to targets in a collaborative environment.
