Role Overview
We are looking for a
results-driven Business Development Manager
to grow our healthcare recruitment business across Ireland, with a primary focus on
new client acquisition
,
account growth
, and
long-term partnerships
.
This role is about
opening doors, winning contracts, and building sustainable revenue
— not just maintaining existing relationships.
You will work closely with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure clients receive a reliable, compliant, and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
* Identify, target, and secure
new healthcare clients
(public and private)
* Develop strong relationships with decision-makers across healthcare organisations
* Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, meetings, proposals, negotiation, and contract close
* Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM systems
* Represent the company at networking events, meetings, and industry forums
Client Relationship Management
* Act as a senior point of contact for key accounts
* Understand client workforce pressures and offer tailored recruitment solutions
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure delivery matches promises
* Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
Market & Commercial Insight
* Monitor healthcare staffing trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities
* Contribute to pricing strategy and commercial decision-making
* Provide accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting

What We're Looking For
Essential
* Proven experience in
business development or sales
(recruitment or healthcare strongly preferred)
* Track record of
winning new business

* Strong understanding of
healthcare staffing challenges
* Confident communicator, comfortable with senior stakeholders
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
* Full driving licence (field-based meetings required)
Desirable
* Background in healthcare recruitment
* Existing network within Irish healthcare sector
* Experience selling into HSE, private providers, or care groups
* Familiarity with healthcare compliance and staffing regulations
