Job Title:
Route Designer, Cables Transforms into Electric Grid Infrastructure Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prioritize and develop electric grid infrastructure projects from feasibility to detailed designs.
* Collaborate with stakeholders through consultation, engagement, and negotiation to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Provide technical support on material quantities, calculations, and design reviews.
* Produce technical reports and drawings using CAD Software.
* Undertake land surveying, data processing, and production of various design drawings including route plans/sections and construction drawings.
* Develop legal notices and commercial tender documents with the support of senior professionals.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Degree in Geo Spatial/Engineering Construction Management or equivalent qualification.
* 3+ years relevant post-qualification experience.
* Strong awareness of health and safety legislation to support a safe working culture.
* Knowledge in the use of modern topographic survey equipment and expertise in using CAD systems to detail and communicate engineering designs.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills including stakeholder management.
* Strong ability to prioritize work with excellent organisational skills and quality management.
* Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.
* Experience in the development/design and construction of linear infrastructure projects such as underground cables.
* Experience using GSI software such as ARCGIS.
* 3D CAD capability.
Work Arrangements:
* This position will be based in One Dublin Airport Central or Eastgate, Cork.

* The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least one anchor day per week.
