GP Sales Representative — 12 Month Contract
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic GP Sales Representative to drive awareness, education, and prescribing adoption of a cardiovascular product across primary care. This role focuses on developing strong relationships with General Practitioners and primary care clinics.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Engagement: Build and maintain professional relationships with General Practitioners, practice staff, and primary care networks.
* Scientific Communication: Present clear, evidence-based clinical data to healthcare professionals, highlighting efficacy, safety, and role in reducing cardiovascular risk.
* Market Access & Adoption: Collaborate with formulary committees, local decision-makers, and integrated care systems to secure and expand prescribing adoption.
* Training & Education: Deliver training sessions, attend clinical meetings, and support educational activities such as webinars and virtual events to reinforce product place in therapy.
* Guideline Awareness: Develop an in-depth understanding of local and national guidelines and treatment pathways to align positioning with clinical practice.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal colleagues, including the Medical Information team (based in Dublin), to ensure compliant, accurate, and impactful scientific exchange.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales, ideally within cardiovascular, metabolic, or primary care therapy areas.
* Strong scientific and clinical understanding, with the ability to interpret and present complex data confidently.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-driven, results-oriented, and adaptable to a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
* Familiarity with Irish healthcare systems, GP networks, and formulary processes is highly desirable.
* Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related field preferred.
