Overview:Swissport is seeking enthusiastic team members to join our Cargo Operation based at Dublin Airport.As part of the Swissport team, you will provide essential clerical support to the cargo function. Your responsibilities will include assisting with customs clearance, handling cash invoicing, managing basic reception duties, and occasionally providing support to other areas within the warehouse.Responsibilities:Day to day you will be responsible for:Basic Customs Clearance ProcessCash InvoicingAcceptance of high value goods such as radioactive goods, live animals or dangerous cargo.Reception duties including but not limited to greeting clients and visitors, answering telephone queries, sorting post, filing etc.Comply with all relevant legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirementsComply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)Operate any necessary machineryAdditional warehouse duties as requiredQualifications:To be succesful in this role you will need to be or have:In possession of a Leaving CertificateFlexible to work a variety of shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and public holidays)Ability to speak and understand the English languageAbility to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not availableExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Must be IT literate and able to learn airline specific computer systemsAbility to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when requiredWillingness to work in inclement weather if requiredAble to demonstrate good customer serviceCommitment to continuous improvementSelf motivated and able to work independentlyPrevious experience working in an aviation environment is desired
