Job Description
This is a key role within the Finance Department, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the fortnightly payroll. Working closely with the payroll supervisor, directors and other finance team members, you will be responsible for processing staff payments every two weeks, meeting tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage starters and leavers, as well as statutory and non-statutory pay overs
* Ensure accurate and timely payment of staff
* Work collaboratively with the finance team to maintain high levels of efficiency and accuracy
Required Skills and Qualifications
* At least 3 years of experience in a payroll/clerical or finance role
* Excellent analytical skills and high computer literacy
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Very good interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
* Knowledge and experience of PAYE, PRSI, and Social Welfare payments
* Irish Payroll Association IPASS qualification or willingness to undertake the qualification
* Experience working to tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
