Role Overview
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing global Group with an exciting future ahead. As a key member of the EI Group Finance team, you will help to maintain and develop the financial and cost accounting systems for the Group, liaising closely with colleagues and other stakeholders locally and across subsidiary companies. Actively contributing to the delivery of high-quality, insightful, and timely information is a central success factor in this role. Technical proficiency, strong people skills, and robust IT, data, and systems experience are required skills. Integrity, energy, and a commitment to deliver are essential personal attributes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Management Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
Produce financial statements, variance analysis, and performance reports
Analyse financial results and provide insights and recommendations to management
Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
Budgeting & Forecasting
Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
Monitor budget performance and investigate variances
Support departments with cost control and financial planning
Financial Control & Compliance
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
Assist with audits (internal and external)
Maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures
Fixed Asset Reporting and reconciliation
Stock Reporting and reconciliation
Cost & Performance Analysis
Conduct cost analysis and profitability reviews
Monitor KPIs and financial metrics
Support pricing, investment, and cost-reduction initiatives
Business Support
Liaise with external auditors and other professional advisors, as required.
Partner with operational and management teams to support decision-making
Provide financial advice to non-finance stakeholders
Support process improvements and system enhancements
Liaise with other group companies to reconcile intercompany balances.
The Person
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
Minimum 2 years industry and / or professional practice experience
Excellent IT and systems experience; advanced excel and PowerBI
Excellent analytical and data management skills.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, a good communicator, both written and verbal.
A strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
