Payroll Manager - CitywestOur client, a multi-national business with locations throughout Ireland, is seeking a Payroll Manager to be based in their Dublin 24 office. The Payroll Manager will report to the CFO and be responsible for managing the daily operations of the payroll function for the Group. This role manages a team of six Payroll professionals and collaborates with a 3rd-party service provider to optimise payroll operations, ensure full compliance with Revenue regulations, and maximise the value of the newly implemented payroll system.The RoleReview existing payroll setups across the group and implement a centralised payroll to cater for the full group.Ensure documented process notes are in place for all procedures.Create internal templates that can be used across the organisation.Maintain an appropriate control environment in line with Plc best practice.Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing systems and procedures.Ensure payroll runs are processed accurately and on time for the group.Oversee the preparation of payroll-related documents.Put in place structures to ensure accurate processing and control for new starters, leavers, pay changes, and personal information changes.Resolve issues relating to payroll runs.Implement KPI tracking to monitor payroll function performance.Provide monthly/quarterly/annual reports to finance and HR within deadlines.Maintain payroll information and records in accordance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits.Support the business Directors on ad hoc projects as required.Build a high-performing team to support integration of existing business units and ongoing growth.Manage the payroll team with clear objectives and succession planning to support ongoing development.The PersonExperience in a senior payroll role, preferably with a Plc background.Experience with Time & Attendance systems.Proven track record managing a large-scale payroll operation in Ireland.Deep knowledge of PAYE, payroll compliance, and Revenue reporting requirements.Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.Experience implementing or optimising payroll systems.Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret and present data.High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.IPASS Qualification (or equivalent) and proficiency in Excel.Good understanding of payroll input to management accounts.For more details, contact Keith at 01 9121892 or email Keith@executiveedge.ie.
