Laois for an experienced Mixologist to join the Food & Beverage team.
Set within the scenic Laois countryside, this well-established property is recognised for its high standards of hospitality, premium guest experience, and extensive leisure facilities including a luxury spa, health club, bars, and dining outlets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional with strong cocktail and beverage knowledge who enjoys working in a high-quality, guest-focused environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the bar team, delivering exceptional beverage service while creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities of a Mixologist
Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beverages, wines and spirits to a high standard
Deliver professional and attentive guest service at all times
Maintain excellent knowledge of cocktail recipes, premium spirits, wines and current beverage trends
Assist in developing seasonal cocktails and beverage offerings
Ensure bar areas are clean, organised and fully stocked throughout service
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control procedures and stock takes
Follow all HACCP, health & safety and responsible service procedures
Handle cash and till procedures in line with company policy
Work closely with the Food & Beverage management team to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintain high presentation and grooming standards at all times
Assist with beverage service during events, conferences and banqueting functions when required
Contribute positively to the wider team environment and guest experience
Requirements of a Mixologist
Previous experience as a Mixologist, Cocktail Bartender or Senior Bartender within a hotel or high-quality bar environment
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and beverage service standards
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Ability to work effectively in a busy hospitality environment
Professional, reliable and well organised approach to work
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy service periods
