Job DetailsDublin based, Permanent Role.Job DescriptionPrincipal Objectives of RoleSapro are looking for an SAP Architect on a permanent basis who will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering SAP solutions. This position leverages deep expertise in SAP system design with accounting and finance knowledge. The SAP Architect leads the design and implementation of SAP solutions, driving automation and standardization.Key Areas of AccountabilitySolution Design & ArchitectureLead the end-to-end SAP solution design across FI/CO modules, namely SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, and SAP SD.Translate business requirements into SAP system architecture, identifying opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate processes.Stay current with SAP product releases, emerging technologies, and industry trends to recommend continuous improvements.Project Delivery & Build ManagementOversee SAP implementation and transformation projects, including business requirement gathering, gap assessment, solution design, configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), parallel runs, go-live support, and handover to financeManage external SAP consultants and system integrators, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.Develop and maintain solution documentation, technical specifications, and change management records.Finance & Business IntegrationAct as a liaison with Finance, ensuring that financial processes (e.g., month-end closing, consolidation, reporting) are accurately and efficiently reflected in SAP systems.Support finance teams in process redesign and improvement initiatives enabled by SAP functionality.Governance & ComplianceDefine and enforce SAP solution governance standards, data integrity principles, and access control measures.Ensure compliance with internal IT audit processes, including documentation and follow-up of audit actionsEnsure the SAP environment supports business continuity, high availability, and disaster recovery requirementsQualifications / ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Professional certification on SAP FI/CO (Finance/Controlling), SAP MM (Materials Management) or SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) would be an advantageAccounting qualification would be an advantage.
