About the Role:
As a skilled Tradesperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of buildings and industrial systems. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in mechanical, electrical, and building systems maintenance.
* Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on complex building systems.
* Conduct routine inspections, diagnose potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
* Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
* Review assigned work orders and track completion to ensure timely delivery.
* Support energy management by promoting efficient operations and minimizing waste.
Requirements:
* Diploma or Trade Qualification with 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
* Meet the physical demands of this role, including standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting heavy loads (50 lbs. or more).
* Able to follow established work routines and standards in the application of work practices.
* Excellent communication skills to exchange information clearly.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
* Strong organizational skills with an analytical mindset.
