Hedge Fund Accountant – Assistant Manager

About the Team
Fund Administration is at the heart of the organisation, and the alternative asset and accounting services team is recognised for delivering exceptional client solutions. With continuous investment in learning and technology, the team is equipped to provide a seamless and efficient service.
Responsibilities
* Oversee high-quality Fund Accounting service delivery, including reviewing and approving daily, weekly and month‑end valuations.
* Lead and develop your team, ensuring strong training, performance standards, succession planning and adherence to company policies.
* Manage client relationships proactively, ensuring SLA/KPI targets are met, addressing development requests and supporting new product or client onboarding.
* Resolve complex transactions, maintain oversight of controls and support continuous improvement through process optimisation and increased automation.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Investor Relations, Custody/Depositary, Product, IT and Shared Services to ensure cohesive service delivery.
* Drive operational excellence by contributing to system enhancements, supporting the evolution of the operating model, and monitoring risk and governance metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in Hedge Fund Accounting, with at least 2 years at Supervisory level.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
* Strong technical knowledge of complex OTC derivatives.
* Excellent communication and writing skills.
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (preferable).
