About the Role
We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers to join established residential teams supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and complex needs. These are residential-based roles only, providing essential care and support in a 24/7 environment.
As a Social Care Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team working to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and personal development of service users in line with regulatory standards and person-centred values.
Residential Opportunities Available In:
* Children’s Residential Services – Supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs in a safe, therapeutic environment.
* Adult Residential Services – Supporting adults to live as independently and meaningfully as possible within their homes and community.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and supervision in line with HIQA/Tusla regulations.
* Build trusting, therapeutic relationships with service users.
* Assist with personal care, emotional support, behavioural interventions, and daily routines.
* Implement and contribute to person-centred care plans.
* Promote inclusion, autonomy, and dignity in all aspects of care.
* Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team reviews.
Requirements
* Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or equivalent (essential).
* Previous experience working in residential care with children or adults (desirable).
* Understanding of trauma-informed care, safeguarding, and positive behaviour support.
* Full manual driving licence (essential).
* Currently residing in Ireland with full legal right to work (essential).
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts including nights, weekends, and sleepovers.
* Garda Vetting and references required prior to appointment.
