Job Description:
The Community Fundraising Executive will report to the Community Fundraising Manager. The primary goal is to support the achievement of Community Fundraising Targets in Munster and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include administration, relationship management, creating marketing materials, CRM input and reporting, donor/volunteer stewardship, and implementing Focus Ireland’s community fundraising activities and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the delivery of the National Fundraising Initiatives annual activity plan to meet income targets and support programme implementation.
2. Create content for websites, social media, and supporter recruitment materials.
3. Support marketing administration and donor support for national campaigns.
4. Ensure fundraising activities comply with charities act, data protection laws, and best practices.
5. Respond to inquiries regarding fundraising initiatives professionally and promptly.
6. Enter supporter data into CRM accurately and GDPR compliant.
7. Support regional fundraisers with queries and data input.
8. Recruit and manage volunteers to aid fundraising and community awareness.
9. Develop relationships with community groups and associations.
10. Support partnerships with third-level institutions and conduct school talks to promote fundraising.
11. Create marketing materials like posters, flyers, social ads, and videos.
12. Gather testimonials, images, and videos from supporters for marketing.
13. Coordinate distribution of fundraising materials and monitor stock levels.
14. Manage relationships with suppliers and oversee payments.
15. Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Team on ad campaigns and social media.
16. Send targeted email communications, including newsletters.
17. Work as part of the fundraising team to maximize income and supporter relationships.
18. Identify development opportunities and contribute ideas to the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree in fundraising, marketing, communications, multimedia, or related field.
* Experience in fundraising, marketing, or similar, with at least 1 year of fundraising experience preferred.
* Excellent communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
* Graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools.
* Strong writing skills for various audiences.
* Organizational and prioritization skills.
* Advanced IT skills, including CRM experience.
* Knowledge of Google Adwords and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
* Flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed.
* Valid driver’s license and access to a car are essential.
