About the Team The Construction & Procurement team specialises in advising on construction disputes, engineering contracts, procurement law and related commercial matters.
We act for main contractors, sub-contractors, public bodies and private sector clients across the full lifecycle of projects.
You'll also play a key role in our public sector procurement offering - assisting public bodies with compliant procurement processes, supporting suppliers in tendering, and acting in procurement challenges and defences.
What You'll Be Doing As Senior Associate, you will: Manage a diverse caseload of construction and procurement matters Engage with clients by phone, virtual meetings and in-person consultations Draft contracts, correspondence, tender documentation and legal submissions Provide strategic advice across contentious and non-contentious issues Deliver seminars and training to clients and stakeholders Lead and support junior team members Actively contribute to networking, client development and profile-building initiatives What You Need Strong knowledge of construction law, engineering contracts and/or public procurement A solid academic background in law, construction or a related field Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues Excellent communication, drafting and stakeholder-management skills Ability to manage deadlines and handle complex matters autonomously A proactive mindset with an interest in business development and client engagement What's in It for You?
