Commercial Manager Power/Utilities (Mayo / Roscommon) A Commercial Manager is required to lead commercial oversight for the North Connacht 110 kV Project, a grid infrastructure upgrade in Mayo and Roscommon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial manager to join a high-profile power infrastructure project supporting Irelands renewable energy and grid expansion objectives. The successful Commercial Manager will play a key role in managing contracts, costs, and commercial deliverables, liaising with the project, engineering, and procurement teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements. Duties: Lead the commercial management of the project, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting. Manage contract administration, including variations, change orders, and subcontractor agreements. Oversee procurement activities and supplier/subcontractor documentation. Prepare and review monthly project reports, budget updates, and commercial submissions for the client and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and client standards. Support project audits, quality assurance checks, and risk management activities. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior commercial staff on the project. Requirements: Minimum 10 years commercial management experience on horizontal utilities or power infrastructure projects with a main contractor. Strong track record managing multi-million-euro projects, ideally involving underground cabling, overhead lines, and substation works. Proven ability to manage budgets, cost control, and contractual obligations. Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and commercial/project management systems. Strong stakeholder management experience, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
