About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Principal Lift Engineer with 10 + years experience to join our team in Dublin. This role involves the installation, modernisation, and maintenance of technical equipment, with a strong emphasis on fault-finding, interpreting technical drawings, and delivering work to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret and work from mechanical and electrical diagrams to service, maintain and fault-find on a range of equipment.
* Carry out detailed diagnostics and fault-finding independently and support others in doing the same.
* Install and modernise equipment in line with company standards and within agreed timescales.
* Consistently reduce repeat call-outs and provide reliable long-term fixes.
* Maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with colleagues and management, and ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
* Promote and adhere to company Health & Safety standards at all times.
* Provide training and support to colleagues as required.
Requirements
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong ability to read and interpret complex mechanical and electrical drawings.
* Proven experience in fault-finding and diagnostics without supervision.
* Solid understanding of materials, specifications, and fabrication processes.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and show initiative in problem-solving and planning.
* Experience in leadership or project coordination is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
* Willingness to participate in training and continuous development.
* Candidate must hold a Full Irish Driving Licence for this role
