Agile Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead a Scrum Team in the delivery of complex change initiatives using a variety of Project Delivery Frameworks
2. Ensure solutions adhere to present and future business objectives.
3. Manage key stakeholder relationships.
4. Manage system development priorities and delivery schedule.
Specific Duties
5. Understand and lead all aspects of the scrum team deliverables
6. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies during the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and Agile practices.
7. Take responsibility for ensuring that the Agile team(s) apply best of breed software engineering practices including but not limited to – Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices, unit and regression test automation, delivery of NFR, adherence to standards
8. Represent the team through all areas of communication with key stakeholders including verbal, written reports, presentations, steering committees etc Deliver projects on time, on budget to the expected quality.
9. Work with business partners and team to translate the business strategy or roadmap into product backlog items
10. Agree priorities with key Business leaders.
11. Lead delivery focusing on the highest priority business deliverables first.
12. Manage the project RACI log and the project budget
13. Conduct project 'Lessons Learned' and create recommendations that will improve future project delivery.
Essential Skills/Experience
14. Minimum of 8 years I.T. industry experience with at least 3 years operating as a Scrum Master on high profile and innovative technical enterprise solutions.
15. Experience of managing multiple parties, including Senior I.S. staff, and 3rd party Vendors.
16. Experience in communicating and influencing at all levels within an organisation.
17. Experience in planning and organising resources and tasks.
18. Experience developing and communicating Milestones plans to key Stakeholders
19. Good knowledge of System Architectures, Software Engineering, and DevOps / Agile practices
20. Strong competence in Strategic Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, Problem Solving, Working on own initiative.
21. Excellent knowledge of formal project management methodologies and processes.
22. Practical experience of the application development life cycle (Waterfall & Agile)
23. Proficient user of MS Office tools, in particular MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint.
24. Proficient user of Atlassian tools including Confluence and Jira
