Responsibilities
As a participant in the program, you will:
* Gain a complete understanding of how to contribute to Medtronic’s core mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.
* Rotate through roles within Global Operations and Supply Chain (GOSC) Controllership, Costing, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of Medtronic’s financial operations.
* Gain hands-on experience with the GOSC Controllership team by ensuring compliance with accounting standards, producing accurate financial reports, and contributing to audit, tax, and internal control activities.
* Develop expertise in analyzing product costs, operational efficiencies, and profitability metrics while working as part of the Costing team.
* Build your strategic financial planning skills by working with the FP&A team to create forecasts, budgets, and actionable insights that inform business decisions.
* Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives that support Medtronic’s business goals.
* Enhance your professional development by participating in mentorship programs and continuous learning opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
* Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field to be completed before start date, September 2026.
* Graduated within the last 2 years.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.
* You are a good communicator and fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
* Builds and maintains positive relationships; shows respect for others.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Internship or co-op experience in finance, accounting, or related areas.
* Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities or previous work experience.
* Ability to adapt to new challenges and work effectively in a team setting.
