Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CMM Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in sustaining daily engineering activities, providing technical support to CMMs on the production floor, and championing operations excellence across the site.

Main Responsibilities
* Contribute to and input into Engineering functional strategy
* Provide technical support to CMMs when required on the production floor
* Champion operations excellence across the site
* Plan and conduct engineering research and design
* Lead significant engineering and lean initiatives
* Standardise and optimise best practices and procedures across the network
* Coordinate with vendors and senior managers to ensure specific cost, time and regulatory standards are met
* Communicate with business partners to resolve process and product issues
* Evaluate project results and provide manufacturing guidance as required
* Technical leadership of staff engineers, senior engineers, engineers, coop students, technicians and operators
* Partner with the CI&A team to drive lean initiatives from an operations engineering perspective
Requirements
* Degree or Master's in relevant Engineering or Science discipline (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronic, Production etc.) or technical experience equivalency
* Minimum 5 years' manufacturing experience
* Metrology experience, ideally in Mitutoyo & Zeiss CMMs
* Knowledge of laser engraving machines
* Recognised Lean qualification, ideally a black belt
* Proven project management skills through the delivery of business-critical projects
* Production process troubleshooting experience required
* Dynamic individual prepared to take responsibility and work as part of a multi-disciplined team
* Excellent communication and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to lead a team in a dynamic, regulated and results-driven environment
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a process improvement orientation
* Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills
* Ability to lead significant projects and initiatives
