* The role of Financial Controller involves overseeing and ensuring the financial compliance and controls are in place correctly, as well as managing the company's financial activities to meet statutory requirements.

* This includes responsibility for producing the monthly reporting pack, annual financial accounts, and budgets and forecasts. The successful candidate will also be required to liaise with external auditors on requirements and respond to queries.

* In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring revenue compliance in all areas and responding to queries from the finance team and other employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* A qualified Financial Accountant with a minimum of 5 years' PQE experience in a busy company is essential.

* The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret data, as well as excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.

* Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are also necessary for this role.

* Certification such as ACA or ACCA is desirable, as well as experience with budgeting and monthly accounts.
