About Your New Job
As Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential development in Carlow Town. You will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership position, requiring excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all site activities to ensure smooth delivery of residential projects
* Supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct staff on site
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
* Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve issues promptly
* Monitor project progress, quality, and budgets, reporting regularly to senior management
* Maintain accurate site records, inspections, and reports
What Skills You Need For This Job
* Previous experience as a Site Manager on residential construction projects
* Strong knowledge of building regulations, health & safety, and quality standards
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
* A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet deadlines
* Relevant construction management qualification (preferred but not essential)
