Role Summary:
We are seeking a Quality & Regulatory Analyst to support a growing portfolio of regulated industrial products, particularly in sectors such as chemicals, life sciences, and pharmaceuticals. This is a newly created role, reflecting expansion in European markets and the need for robust compliance, supplier qualification, and product onboarding processes.
Working as part of a collaborative team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards, managing regulatory documentation, and advancing quality systems across the organisation. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on compliance and documentation activities and will suit an experienced professional seeking both autonomy and collaboration in a purpose-driven environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Quality & Regulatory Compliance (60%)
* Serve as an internal advisor on European and international regulatory requirements in the chemical, food, or pharmaceutical sectors.
* Lead or support the qualification of new products and suppliers, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal quality standards.
* Maintain and update product collateral, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), specifications, and regulatory documentation.
* Manage customer and supplier questionnaires and requests for regulatory documentation and compliance information.
* Support or lead policy development and SOP creation in line with applicable regulations (REACH, CLP, etc.).
* Monitor and implement updates to quality and food safety programs.
Operational Support (25%)
* Review product information, handle release holds, and ensure readiness for market distribution.
* Coordinate with internal teams to resolve regulatory issues, audit findings, or corrective actions.
* Support internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives across quality and regulatory topics.
* Assist with the alignment of Dublin operations to international quality frameworks such as ISO 9001:2015.
* Contribute to sustainability reporting and compliance (e.g., EcoVadis, if applicable).
Strategic & Analytical Activities (15%)
* Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving systems, reducing compliance risk, and facilitating product expansion.
* Analyze trends in regulatory or customer compliance requirements and adjust internal practices accordingly.
* Report on key quality metrics and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Participate in quality audits (internal/external) and contribute to audit readiness.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
5+ years’ experience in a Quality/Regulatory or compliance function, ideally within the chemical, food safety, or pharmaceutical sectors.
Proven experience in ISO 9001:2015 certified environments.
Experience working in or supporting GFSI-compliant systems (FSSC 22000, BRC, SQF, or IFS).
Familiarity with European regulations including REACH, CLP, and supply chain due diligence regulations.
PCQI or FSVP certification preferred (but not required).
Familiarity with EcoVadis or other sustainability rating platforms is a plus.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and critical-thinking skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of translating technical requirements into clear business documentation.
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
Ability to interpret and apply regulatory standards in practical, business-focused ways.
Demonstrates professionalism, ethical judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
