Payroll Specialist Location: Dublin (Hybrid 3 days per week in office) Contract: Permanent Salary: Competitive (DOE) About the Role Osborne is delighted to partner with our client in seeking a Payroll Specialist to join an established team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and process improvement are highly valued.
This is a hybrid role, with three days per week required in the office.
The Ideal Payroll Specialist IPASS qualified (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years payroll experience, with strong knowledge of Irish tax, PRSI, and payroll legislation.
Proven track record of managing payroll operations within an audit and compliance framework.
Experience liaising with external payroll providers and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience in pension administration and benefits management desirable.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist Manage the preparation and processing of multiple payrolls via an outsourced provider, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Prepare payroll sign-offs, reconciliations, and statutory returns (e.g., ROS, pension, PRSI, and levy submissions).
Respond to payroll and benefit-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
Administer employee benefit schemes including pensions, healthcare, and other reward programmes.
Contribute to HR initiatives, including job architecture and compensation framework development.
Assist with employee onboarding by providing payroll and benefits information during induction sessions.
