Salary: €35,948 -€45,188
* Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

The Children and Young People's Service within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports, residential, family support and education services to 0-18 year old Children and Young People with complex needs and their families. The candidates are also required to work in partnership with families within a family centred model.
Essential:
* FETAC Level 5/QQ I in Healthcare /Social Care/Early Childhood/or a related discipline, or be in pursuit of same.
* Previous experience in the area of intellectual disabilities is desirable.
* Ability to effectively manage their time; work on their own initiative.
* Ability to be flexible and creative. · Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Be committed to promoting the active engagement and participation of individuals in their local communities.
* Be person centred in approach to enabling individuals to maximise their independence and develop meaningful roles in society.
* Be available to work evenings and weekends.
