Sous Chef Our client is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to lead our award-winning production kitchen team of 4-5 chefs and supporting the Head Chef. This exciting role might suit an ambitious Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step, to see beyond the plate and take pride in what they do to make their mark on a unique property. Our chefs design inclusive menus, inspired by the seasons and global trends, tailored to meet the specific preferences of our wide-ranging audiences and the catering needs of all our events across Cork. The food sites at the centre of our clients business, much broader offer that is about the team, the customer journey and experience that combines to deliver that overall experience and atmosphere only great hospitality can generate. Ideal Candidate Requirements: An enthusiastic Sous Chef with strong kitchen management skills. Experience working in a busy kitchen. Excellent Foodie Chef who is creative and enthusiastic about food. Strong knowledge and management of HACCP and food safety systems. A people person who can inspire, motivate, and develop a large team in absence of Head Chef. Someone who values collaboration and enjoys working closely with colleagues across the kitchen for superb results. Flair for creating exciting menus that showcase local ingredients. Excellent organizational and cost-control abilities. What we offer: Work life Balance. 7am To 3pm Monday to Friday with maybe one evening per month. Salary: €35,000 €40,000 DOE + excellent bonus.
