Job Title: Finance Manager
Job Description:
The successful candidate will head up the finance department, managing all aspects of day-to-day accounting and banking. Responsibilities include producing quarterly financial reports and management accounts, as well as payroll for a team of 80 members.
In addition to these duties, the incumbent will work closely with the CEO and other department heads to finalize public funding requirements, budgets, and forecasted spend. This includes securing funding from relevant bodies and managing expenditures throughout the financial year.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent technical knowledge of management accounting practices. Experience working in a charity or not-for-profit sector is beneficial but not essential.
The ideal candidate will have a fully qualified accounting accreditation (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) and demonstrate a genuine interest in contributing to the organization's mission and vision.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Fully qualified accountant with relevant professional accreditation (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
* Excellent technical knowledge of management accounting practices
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
