Health and Safety Professional
Job Summary:
* Lead by example and provide sound and industry leading advice to stakeholders.
* Investigate accidents/incidents on site and assist with the aftermath.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies if they attend site following an incident.
* Collaborate with senior management to prepare health and safety reports.
* Notify senior management if there is reason to believe there will be a period of inadequate cover for health and safety.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver relevant training programs.
* Stay informed about legislative changes and best practices to enable the provision of competent health and safety advice.
* Be aware of own limitations and ensure advice given remains within those limitations.
You will have:
* Tech IOSH certification or equivalent.
* At least 3 years of experience as a health and safety professional.
* NEBSOH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
* NVQ Level 4 / EFQ L3 in Occupational Health and Safety or Equivalent.
