The 4* Carrigaline Court hotel has recently completed a multi-million Euro refurbishment scheme, including the renovations of our bedrooms, meeting and banqueting rooms, guest lobby areas and leisure centre facilities. The hotel has 91 bedrooms and luxurious suites, a wide range of conference and banqueting facilities, a Leisure Centre, along with dining options including fine dining in the Bistro restaurant, carvery served in Collins Bar, and Afternoon tea served in Sallys tearoom. Our hotel has a mix of business and leisure guests, and the redevelopment coupled with the high level of service delivery by our friendly, professional team members, means that the Carrigaline Court hotel is well placed in terms of positioning for those considering hotel stays in Cork.
As part of our ongoing development, the Carrigaline Court hotel is now seeking applications for the position of Digital Marketing Specialist. As part of the Commercial team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will support the hotel's sales & marketing activities. The successful candidate will be involved in developing and delivering an integrated marketing strategy to boost the hotel's brand image and revenue, adopting an omnichannel approach to executing campaigns, optimising activity to maximise return on investment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for developing an online marketing strategy in line with company objectives, managing goals and reporting on results.
Analyse and report performance metrics and data to Management and utilise metric results in formulating design content/activities.
Formulate, direct, and coordinate digital marketing activities to support omnichannel sales.
Liaising with and directing key external agencies and suppliers in order to deliver on the company objectives and goals.
Managing and developing the company website.
Reviewing and improving upon website SEO activity.
Undertaking advertising activity including paid for Social and PPC online advertising, planning activity accordingly and managing budgets.
Preparing and executing e‑mail marketing campaigns.
Management of marketing databases and responsibility for being compliant with GDPR guidelines.
Support and engage in driving social media activity.
Grow and engage community members across various platforms and channels.
Develop creative content to support marketing activity.
Cooperating with rollout and development of hotel PR activities.
Looking at maximising revenue opportunities across all channels and product categories.
Attending weekly/monthly sales performance meetings.
Work closely with colleagues on cross‑departmental activity.

Qualifications

Marketing/ Business Degree, or equivalent qualification, in particular relating to digital activity.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry a distinct advantage.
Strong analytical skills, providing practical business insights, utilising systems such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
Website content management experience such as utilisation of WordPress.
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience in managing online advertising activity such as AdWords and Paid for Social channels like Facebook Ad Manager, with knowledge of pixel tracking via tools such as Google Tag Manager.
Social Media Management experience using tools such as Hootsuite.
Experience in working on graphic design packages such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
An eye for detail in relation to content creation, with an ability to utilise photo and video editing software such as InShot.
Knowledge of e‑mail marketing systems such as Mailchimp and CRM systems.
Experience of working with budgets, in particular relating to digital activity.
A good commercial acumen relating to revenue opportunities.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
Exceptional time management, organisational and planning skills.
Ability to multi‑task and provide support to other areas of the hotel when required.
A professional can‑do approach to activity and to lead by example when performing duties.
