Key Responsibilities:
Assess residents’ interests and abilities to create personalized activity plans
Lead a variety of recreational activities: arts & crafts, games, fitness, and social outings
Organize special events like holiday celebrations and birthday parties
Foster community spirit and encourage resident participation
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environmentMaintain accurate records of participation and adapt programs as needed
Collaborate with nursing staff, caregivers, and families
Manage activity supplies and procure materials as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in an activity coordinator or recreation role (preferably in elder care or healthcare)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Creativity and enthusiasm for planning engaging activities
Team player with a compassionate, patient approach
Certification in recreational therapy or a related field (preferred but not essential)
