Role Overview
As a Programme Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and supporting independent living and community integration.
This position requires strong leadership skills to develop, implement, and deliver quality customer-focused and cost-effective community services.
* Manage a team of staff and assist in the development of individual programmes and activities tailored to meet the needs, choices, and abilities of service users.
* Travel across locations as required to ensure delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Build trusting relationships with service users to identify their goals, strengths, and needs.
* Provide accessible information on available community-based supports and monitor activities at an appropriate pace to ensure sustainability.
* Advocate on behalf of and support self-advocacy for service users in various settings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Third level graduate or equivalent qualification in health and social care.
* Minimum two years' experience working with adults with disabilities.
* Strong people management skills with experience of building, leading, and motivating a team.
* Ability to manage behaviours that cause concern.
