Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician
This is a permanent full-time role in the Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at engineeringuk.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team. As an RME Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment and workspaces while adhering to health and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience with planned preventative maintenance systems, fault-finding within Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or automation systems, and ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment
* Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live environment
* Utilize the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
* Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
* Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
* Participate in continuous improvement projects and implement best practices across sites
A Day in the Life
You will respond promptly to machinery issues, conduct planned preventative maintenance to ensure safety and operational efficiency. You will respond to breakdowns, investigate issues, implement solutions, and suggest long-term improvements.

The RME team maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment across engineeringuk's global facilities. The team includes leaders overseeing exciting technologies and complex systems. Opportunities for career progression are available within the team and across engineeringuk.
Qualifications
We require candidates with:
* NFQ6 qualification in Engineering or related field
* Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems
* Fault-finding experience within MHE or automation systems
* Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with additional qualifications and experience may include:
* HNC, HND, BSc, or BEng degree in Engineering or related field
* Experience with high voltage switching
* Experience with sortation machines
* Experience maintaining/configuring barcode scanners
* Experience with print and apply machines
