LIMS Project Analyst - QC Systems | 18-Month Contract | Global Pharma
Job Description
A global life sciences organisation is seeking a LIMS Project Analyst – QC Systems to support the deployment of Labware LIMS V8 at its Grange Castle site in Ireland, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and local operational requirements. The role focuses on developing and maintaining LIMS Master Data to support manufacturing, testing, and product release activities.
You will configure and modify LIMS setups (including analytical and microbiology methods), manage specifications, standards, reagents, COAs, labels, and associated Master Data. Responsibilities include developing and executing test scripts, performing verification testing with CSV teams, facilitating user workshops, and supporting system design and validation activities.
You will work cross-functionally with QA, QC, Manufacturing, IT/DD&T, Project Managers, Labware SMEs, and LIMS Administrators. The role also includes supporting training and troubleshooting during hyper-care, assisting with hardware setup, configuring interfaces with analytical equipment and SAP, and coordinating assigned LIMS project activities.
Essential Requirements
· Minimum 1 year of experience working with LIMS administration and/or Master Data building
· Experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
· Thorough understanding of Quality Systems and cGMP requirements
· Experience configuring or modifying LIMS setups (e.g., analytical methods, specifications, standards, reagents, COAs)
· Experience creating and verifying LIMS Master Data
· Experience developing and executing LIMS test scripts and protocols
· Exposure to system verification testing in collaboration with CSV teams
· Ability to analyse user requirements and translate them into LIMS configuration/design
· Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (QA, QC, Manufacturing, IT, Project teams)
· Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate user workshops
· Ability to support training, troubleshooting, and issue escalation
Preferred Requirements
· Experience configuring LIMS interfaces with analytical equipment or associated software
· Experience integrating LIMS with SAP systems
· Experience contributing to Configuration/Design Specifications and Design documentation
· Experience supporting LIMS hardware setup in collaboration with IT/DD&T
· Ability to coordinate project tasks, stakeholder follow-ups, supplier interactions, and issue escalation
· Experience working on structured LIMS project deployments
