Park Inn by Radisson, Shannon Airport
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome our guests to the hotel and act as a first point of contact.
* Answer any queries the guest may have on in house facilities and tourist information.
* Update all guest information and ensure all documentation is completed, managed and maintained accurately and efficiently.
* Take and confirm reservations for our guests.
* Manage the reception area for the business and handle a high volume of calls and emails.
* Liaise with colleagues, management and external stakeholders as required.
* Supporting Front Office Manager to ensure that all Front Office team members are trained in customer service.
Requirements
About The Role
* Excellent customer care and communication skills.
* Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
* Highly organised with excellent attention-to-detail.
* Ensure that all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, and courteous welcome upon their arrival and throughout their stay from all department personnel.
* Assist in achieving goals related to customer comment indexes, quality evaluations, and hotel standards.
* Help in efficiently and effectively managing front office departmental operations.
* Be thoroughly familiar with all company selling procedures and promotions
* The role will operate 5 days over 7 on a shift basis and include weekends
Experience
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee and delegate tasks to others.
* A warm, friendly, and approachable personality when interacting with both staff and guests.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
