Job Description: Child & Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner Essential Criteria Core Competencies Proven ability to deliver Individual Interventions and Therapeutic-Based Group Interventions.Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.Qualifications & Registration/Accreditation Candidates must hold one of the following: Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.Overseas-qualified applicants must provide evidence of validation by the Department of Health at the time of application.Mental Health Nurse registered with An Bord Altranais, with additional training in Child Counselling/Psychotherapy/CBT, and demonstrable experience working with children and families.Social Worker or Occupational Therapist registered with CORU, with additional training in Child Counselling/Psychotherapy/CBT, and demonstrable experience working with children and families.Counsellor/Psychotherapist accredited by the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP), Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), or Irish Association for Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP), with additional training and demonstrable experience working with children and families.Professional Clinical Experience (Skills, Knowledge, Competence) Minimum of 1 year full-time (or equivalent) post-qualification/accreditation experience supporting children and/or adolescents with mental health needs.
