Quantity Surveyor Role
We seek an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial/contractual duties and maintain client relationships.
About the Position:
* Developing strong ties with clients and their representatives.
* Providing support for staff in performing commercial tasks as necessary.
* Liaising with other departments to provide information enhancing service delivery and receipt within Commercial / Financial Departments.
* Preparation of monthly, interim, and final valuations, applications for payment, reconciliations of valuations and costs, and certification of amounts for contract, sub-contract, specialists, and suppliers.
* Supplying necessary data for accurate and regular review of cash flow and position on contracts.
* Recovery of all monies due to the company for work undertaken.
Requirements:
* 6-10 years post graduate experience in a similar role.
* Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Self motivation with ability to multitask multiple projects, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
* Full clean driver's licence.
* Carry out full take-off, estimating, cost control, and tracking of progress of contracts.
